I have been using a 16 foot Coleman plastic shelled canoe for nearly 20 years and discovered today that there is a small hole in the bottom of it. It was caused by dragging the canoe across a parking lot. I wonder if there is some sort of poxy that would work well in repairing the hole. Any ideas?


I have found a split along the keel of my Coleman Ram-X canoe...whats the best way to repair it?..Its about an inch and a half long....


I have a 15 ft Ram-X Coleman canoe with a 4 inch long rip and 1/4 to 1/2 inch in witdth gap positioned right on the keel of the canoe (Stern).

What is the best way to patch this? I thought about using Fiber glass but afraid it won't have the same flexibility the ram-X has. While I'm at it, I would like to touch up a lot of the Canoe; there are many deep scratches.

Is it worth trying to fix Ram-X or is it just time for a new one?


Its practically a matter of life and death because my dads a diabetic and his insulin has to be kept cold or it will go bad. I have a large Coleman X-treme cooler that claims it will keep ice up to 5 days but can i use dry ice? What are my options? HELP!!!!


I called walmart today to find out how much their canoes are, and they said 368. I was like, are you sure? That sounds really cheap. And he checked again, and said the same thing. These are the polyethylene, or however you spell it, plastic type. Also, if anyone out there knows, are these worth getting? I'm sure if that price is right, i can't go wrong, but just curious what people's experiences are with them. Thanks.
